Teaching

I teach at J. C. Campbell Folk School; at Highland Woodworking; for various clubs; and one-on-one in my studio.

Demonstrating

I demonstrate for various clubs and symposiums around the Southeast. While I can demonstrate basic turning with projects such as spurtles, bowl turning, natural edge bowls, and lidded boxes and vessels, I love to demo Fantasy turning. Fantasy turning is about learning how to create by playing at the lathe and being able to ask, “What if?”

I have demonstrated for the following clubs and symposiums:

  • Georgia:
    • Apple Ridge Woodturner
    • Barnesville Woodturners
    • Bi-City Woodturners
    • Brasstown Woodturners Guild
    • Chattahoochee Woodturners
    • Classic City Woodturners
    • Georgia Association of Woodturners
    • Gwinnett Woodturners
    • Low Country Woodturners
    • Peachstate Woodturners
    • Southern Metro Turners
  • South Carolina:
    • Palmetto Woodturners
  • Florida:
    • Sarasota Woodturners
  • Symposiums:
    • Southern States Symposium
    • Turning Southern Style Symposium
    • Day At The Lathe.
