Teaching
I teach at J. C. Campbell Folk School; at Highland Woodworking; for various clubs; and one-on-one in my studio.
Demonstrating
I demonstrate for various clubs and symposiums around the Southeast. While I can demonstrate basic turning with projects such as spurtles, bowl turning, natural edge bowls, and lidded boxes and vessels, I love to demo Fantasy turning. Fantasy turning is about learning how to create by playing at the lathe and being able to ask, “What if?”
I have demonstrated for the following clubs and symposiums:
- Georgia:
- Apple Ridge Woodturner
- Barnesville Woodturners
- Bi-City Woodturners
- Brasstown Woodturners Guild
- Chattahoochee Woodturners
- Classic City Woodturners
- Georgia Association of Woodturners
- Gwinnett Woodturners
- Low Country Woodturners
- Peachstate Woodturners
- Southern Metro Turners
- South Carolina:
- Palmetto Woodturners
- Florida:
- Sarasota Woodturners
- Symposiums:
- Southern States Symposium
- Turning Southern Style Symposium
- Day At The Lathe.
